General
Our dress code is casual. Shirt and shoes are required.
The Salem Waterfornt hotel, Hawthorne hotel, Witch Museum, PEM and House of 7 Gables are all with in walking distance of Finz
We do allow dogs! The first 6 tables along the edge of our patio are dog friendly tables. (these tables fill up quickly, additional wait times may occur) Service animals/pets are allowed anywhere in the restaurant both inside and out.
We take allergies very seriously at Finz. Every server is trained to ask all of our guests if there are any food allergies. From there the order is run through the Manager on duty and chef so that we can properly modify each dish.
Store bought cakes and pastries are permitted. We charge a plating fee of 2.00pp for all outside cake and desserts. We cannot accept anything homemade for board of health reasons.
Yes we offer land based and vegetarian options in addition to seafood.
Click here to make a reservation. We take a limited amount of reservations to allow for walk in's through out the year. Please note specific seating requests such as window, booth and outdoor deck seating is handled on a first come first serve basis. We try to honor all of these request however additional wait times may occur.
Our patio is not heated
Parking is located across the street at the South Harbor parking garage, hourly and daily rates will fluctuate through the year. The garage is located on the corner of New Derby and Congress St.
Items on our menu that are marked with a blue fish can be prepared gluten free with modifications. Please inform your server so that we can properly prepare your dish.
Valid identification is required for all persons 21+ ordering alcoholic beverages. We accept the following: Drivers license, State ID, State liquor card, passport, passport card, military ID. Pictures of ID's on phones, expired ID's and temporary ID's cannot be accepted. All guests ordering alcoholic beverages should be prepared to have a valid ID.
All dock slips are managed through the Pickering Wharf dock master, they monitor on marine channel 9 or can be called on the land line 508-202-8958
We are closed for regular business so that our employees can spend time with their families. Christmas eve we are open for gift cards only please call the restaurant to inquire about our hours
October Policies
Reservations are only offered Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner, Friday until 4pm. Saturday and Sunday and Monday holiday we are walk in only. We ask if you do have reservations mid-week and are running late, please call as we can not hold the table for more than 10 min.
Due to the heavy business volume on Saturday, Sundays and the Monday holiday we are unable to offer take out. However take out is available all other times.
With the heavy foot traffic as well as automobile traffic we recommend giving yourself enough time to get in to Salem as well time to dine comfortably. Weekends we are at our peak volume, please prepare for longer wait times. We do our best to accommodate as many guests as swiftly as possible so that you may enjoy your visit.
Parking is located all through out the city of Salem. About mid day parking garages and lots fill up quickly. The closest garage is the South Harbor parking garage located directly across the street from Pickering Wharf.
